Vision and Values

Our Vision

At Braunston, we aspire to offer a rounded and fulfilling education, underpinned by our values and driven by our aims of ‘Learning for life in all its fullness’. (John 10:10). We strive to facilitate academic excellence and are ambitious in our pursuit of developing children who are confident, literate and socially and emotionally resilient.

Children are educated within a distinctively Christian ethos which provides them with opportunities to realise their full potential and are grounded in our values, equipped for a diverse world.

School Values

Each term we choose our value, which is introduced in assembly and promoted throughout the school. Braunston is a Christian values led school. We want our children to ‘Learn for Life in all its Fullness’ (John 10:10) and we believe living and learning by our values helps each child to achieve this. To support this, each child has a ‘values passport’. This is a passport that they take home every term when we start learning about a new value. Inside the passport is a list of possible ways in which children can show that value at home. If a child shows our values at home this is celebrated at one of our collective worships and children are awarded with a certificate. Children are rewarded weekly for actions that demonstrate that value. This initiative also builds on our school motto, We Care.
